PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost, to miniaturize a whole head, and to simplify the handling work. SOLUTION: A handler head 1 is provided with a head body 2 having an arm 3 to hold a work S to be tested with a carrier (s) and movable between a carriage rail A and a test part B, the arm 3 comprises a pair of elevating/ lowering arms 4a, 4b to be elevated/lowered on the head body 2, and a pair of turning arms 5a, 5b to be brought close to/separated from each other by the elevating/lowering action of the elevating/lowering arms 4a, 4b, and the turning arms 5a, 5b are provided with holding surfaces 5A1, 5B1 to hold the work S to be tested, and pressing surfaces 5A2, 5B2 to press the work S against the testing part B.
