PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piano handle type switch device with a mounting frame and a decorative frame usable in common. SOLUTION: This device includes a switch body 5 formed in which a switch mechanism and quickly connectable terminals arranged at both sides thereof are built, a piano handle 43 having one side mounted in front of the switch body 5 for operating the switch mechanism of the switch body 5 with its thrust and rotational movement, a mounting frame 2 large enough to mount three switch bodies 5 in array, and a decorative frame provided with an opening window and mounted outside the mounting frame 2. When one, two or three switch bodies 5 are mounted, the piano handle 43 almost as large, almost half as large or almost 1/3 as large as the opening window of the decorative frame is mounted to the switch body 5, respectively.
