PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine capable of obtaining the data on detailed traffic conditions in respective places to be investigation objects of a wide range by performing an investigation to be performed all day through day and night and the investigation over a long period of time and obtaining the data on the traffic conditions of many places. SOLUTION: This automatic vending machine 1 is provided with a camera part 5 for picking up the images of passers-by passing in front of the automatic vending machine 1, an analysis part 6 for analyzing image pickup signals outputted from the camera part 5 and classifying/analyzing the passers-by into prescribed categories, a counting part 7 for integrating the analysis data of the respective categories analyzed in the analysis part 6 for respective classifications and a transmission part for transmitting the analysis data of the respective categories integrated in the counting part 7 to a sum-up part 2.
