PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for electric propulsion equipment in an electric propulsion ship, wherein power is supplied to electric propulsion equipment and an inboard load from identical power generating equipment. SOLUTION: The output power of a generator 1a is detected with a power detector 1c. The power of a converter 12 is detected with a power detector 17. An inboard load power operating circuit 18 is installed, and operates values wherein hysteresis operation is imparted to values obtained by sampling the difference between both of the detected values at specified periods. On the basis of the output of the inboard load power operating circuit 18 and the rated power of the generator 1a, a torque command value in a speed control circuit 14 is calculated. |
