PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical measuring sensor judging the concn. of a gas to be measured, for example, the concn. of oxygen by an electrochemical element wherein the defect of conventional technique is eliminated. SOLUTION: In the electrochemical measuring sensor judging the concn. of a gas to be measured by an electrochemical element containing a first solid electrolyte member equipped with an electrochemical pump cell and a gas space and a second solid electrolyte member equipped with an electrochemical sensor cell (Nernst cell) and constituted so that the surface of the first solid electrolyte member turned to the space of gas to be measured and a gas penetrating opening are covered with a porous protective layer, a layer 25 having high density or slight porosity to a protective layer 21 is attached to the porous protective layer 21. |
