PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device made possible to obtain the excellent image being supreme in development property and the development stability by preventing the occurrence of absorption or void arising at the non- contact development, at the time of forming image on the image carrier, and to obtain the image of excellent density, furnished with the second color enable inconspicuously changing. SOLUTION: This image forming device, provided with a photoreceptor 1, and the developing device 4 equipped with a developing sleeve 41 carrying the developer held in a state of non-contact with respect to the photoreceptor 1, for developing the electrostatic latent image carried on the developing sleeve 41 by the developer, is allowed to apply voltage consisting of DC component superimposed by symmetrical AC component being intermittently suspended with regard to the developing sleeve 41, and moreover, the device is composed so that the rotary direction of the developing sleeve 41 periphery in the developing area where the photoreceptor 1 and developing sleeve 41 are opposing each other, is made opposite to the rotary direction of the photoreceptor 1. |
