PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cable clamper of an optical cable-connecting closure which is inexpensive, is light in weight and does not give rise to shrink back in the sheath portion of the optical cable. SOLUTION: This clamper consists of an inner clamp 2 for clamping the optical cable 1 and an outer clamp 3 for protecting the inner clamp 2. The inner clamp 2 is made of plastic and its inside surface in contact with the optical cable 1 is provided with projections 6 to prohibit the shrink pack of the sheath portion 5 of the optical cable 1 by biting into the surface of the optical cable 1. The inner clamp 2 is made of the plastic and is, therefore, light in weight and is inexpensive. |
