PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain communication with a satellite by the operation of the handset of a portable telephone set by allowing a transceiver unit to have a satellite communication transmitting and receiving part, and allowing the handset to have a ground system cellular transmitting and receiving part and a switching part for connecting a transmitter/receiver with the satellite communication transmitting and receiving part or the ground system cellular transmitting and receiving part. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 24 is constituted so that a transceiver for a ground system cellular can be integrated with a display 18, operation key 19, microphone 20, and speaker 21. At the time of using a satellite, a first switcher 26 is connected with 26c, and a second switcher 27 is connected with 27b, and a voice signal is transmitted from a microphone 20 through an interface part 22 and connecting terminals 28 and 29 by an antenna 1 for satellite communication. At the time of using a ground system cellular, the first switcher 26 is connected with 26b, and the second switcher 27 is connected with 27c, and the voice signal is transmitted from the microphone 20 through the interface part 22 to an antenna 25 for a ground system cellular. Thus, this communication terminal equipment can be independently used as the portable telephone set. |
