PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor for forming the calibration curve of a substance containing an element in which an isotope is present. SOLUTION: At first, the respective concns. of the same substance different in mass number are preliminarily calculated corresponding to the presence ratio of stable isotopes (S1). Isotopes are separated at every mass number by chromatograph mass analysis to detect the substance and peak areas are calculated from respective maschromatograms (S2-S4). The combinations of the peak areas and the concns. are used as data to draw a calibration curve (S5). The calibration curve thus formed is stored in a memory and subsequently utilized at a time of the quantitative analysis of a substance unknown in concn.
