PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly listen to broadcast by stopping the change operation of a tuning frequency when a retrieval keyword is present in detected broadcast relating information signals. SOLUTION: When a tuning search command is issued from an operation part 12, a system controller 10 leaves a main control operation during execution at present and moves to the execution of a tuning search control routine. At the time tuning is performed while raising tuning frequency signals (f) by each prescribed step frequencyα, and at the time of being tuned to certain broadcast waves during the time, RDS data are fetched from the broadcast waves. At the time, the tuning frequency change operation is executed until the tuning frequency signals (f) exceed upper limit tuning frequency signals fn as the upper limit frequency. When the same data string as the retrieval keyword (character code stream) is detected from the RDS data (PS data, PTY code and RT data), the tuning frequency change operation is stopped at the point of time and an audio source for performing output is forcibly switched to a receiver side.
