PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid or the like from entering the enclosure of equipment to reduce failures by providing a drain for discharging water along sides of a top face joined with a resin mold. SOLUTION: An enclosure of equipment such as a television receiver comprises a top face 3 and side faces 4 which are formed of metallic plates, while a periphery of a display face of a cathode-ray tube 2 exposed on the front face is covered by a resin cover 7. A drain 8 for discharging water is formed on the side of the top face 3 joining with the resin cover 7, a handle 5 for carrying the television receiver 1 is externally attached to the side face 4, and a vent hole 6 for making air inside the enclosure flow is provided below the handle 5. Thus liquid or the like can be prevented from entering the enclosure, thereby reducing failures caused by components in the enclosure getting wet.
