PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a solid polymer fuel cell, stably at high efficiency by stably humidifying fuel gas and oxidizer gas and by supplying sufficient water to a solid polymer electrolyte film. SOLUTION: A humidifier for gas is composed of a container 1 equipped with an opening part at its vertically lower part, a sealing plate 2 jointed by a flange to the opening part, water stored in it, a gas introducing pipe 4 mounted with its open end placed in the water at the vertically lower part, a humidified gas outputting tube 5 mounted with its open end placed in the air at a vertically upper part in the container, and a heater 6 placed around the container 1, in order to avoid fluctuation of a dew point caused by sudden heating of a water drop on the upper surface of the container 1. |
