The connection is constituted by a rigid pipe (4) connecting the gas supply inlet (10) to the infra red heater (3) and a gas supply pipe (2). The connecting pipe comprises a rotating connector (5) which enables pivoting movement of the heater when it is subjected to a load caused for example by a perching bird.
