The strap holder comprises two strips of material (1,2) joined by a transverse seam (10) at one end and a fastener (4) such as a press stud or Velcro (RTM) strips at the other so that a brassiere strap is held between them. The outer surface of the upper strip (1) has an adhesive film covering (11) so it can be stuck, e.g. by ironing, to the inside of a garment shoulder strap.
