PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-hanging air conditioner, capable of guiding suction air, sucked through a suction port, uniformly into the fore and rear directions of a heat exchanger, constituted of a vertical unit, a rear slanted unit, formed by bending the upper end of the vertical unit rearward, and a lower slanted unit, formed by bending the rear end of the rear slanted unit downward. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is constituted of a heat exchanger 3, provided in an air passage connecting suction ports 2, provided on the upper part of front surface of a main body 1 and the upper surface of the same, with an air outlet port 5 provided at the lower part of the main body 1 and consisting of a vertical unit 3a, a rear slanted unit 3b formed by bending the upper end of the vertical unit 3a rearward and a lower slanted unit 3c formed by bending the rear end of the rear slanted unit 3b downward, a ventilating fan 4 and an up-and-down air direction changing plate 6, supported pivotally through bearings. In such an air conditioner, a flow regulating plate 7 for guiding suction air, sucked through the suction port and whose heat is exchanged in the heat exchanger, uniformly into the fore and rear directions of the heat exchanger, is supported pivotally in an air passage between the rear end of the rear slanted unit as well as the bent part of the lower slanted unit and the ventilating fan opposed to the bent part of the lower slanted unit.
