摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety without increasing the product cost by sealing an annular gap between at least one rigid metal bar of two contact terminals provided on a safe vent hole and a duct of which a small diameter portion is penetrated through an insulation element and a sealing cover, a big diameter portion at one end is placed on an inner surface of the insulation element and the other end is crimped on an outer surface of the cover by a heat-melting composition. SOLUTION: A big diameter portion 11b of a duct 11 of which a small diameter portion is penetrated through a metal cover 4 of a container and an aperture of a lower insulation element 21 is a flange 12 in contact with an inner surface 21a of the insulation element 21 and the other end is a crimp bulge 13 in contact with an outer surface 4b of a cover. An annular gap 18 between at least partially rigid metal bar 30 and an inner wall of the duct 11 penetrating therethrough is released when a heat-melting composition 14 such as a eutectic alloy including Sn, Bi, Pb, Cd, or In melts at a temperature higher than a certain point and internal pressure in a battery. If an extending portion from the insulation element 21 of the bar 30 to the battery is a flat connecting means 5 between a cathode and an anode, it is appropriate for a mass production.
