PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out an image picked up by means of an electronic camera and stored as electronic information appropriately using map information. SOLUTION: The electronic camera system comprises means 13 recording map information as electronic information, an electronic camera 15 for picking up a view, and the like, and recording the image in the form of electronic information, and means 12 for displaying the map information recorded on the map information recording means 13 and the image information recorded in the electronic camera 15. In the system, the information displaying means 12 displays the map information recorded on the map information recording means 13 and a mark indicative of presence of an image picked up by the electronic camera 15 is presented on the displayed map information while being associated with the image pickup position. |
