PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing system capable of controlling a plurality of magnetic bearing spindles by one controller. SOLUTION: Microcomputers 101, 102 are housed in a controller 100, not only a position detecting signal from a magnetic bearing spindle 1a but also a position detecting signal from a magnetic bearing spindle 1b is converted into digital signals and input into the microcomputer 101, the corresponding drive signals are output from the microcomputer 101 and amplified by power amplifiers 31 to 35 after being converted into analog signals, a magnetic bearing and a motor corresponding to the magnetic bearing spindles 1a, 1b are driven, and therefore, the number of magnetic bearing spindles capable of being controlled by the controller 100 can be increased.
