PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification tag for cleaning having excellent workability, good hot water resistance and solvent resistance so that the tag is not peeled even in a laundry cleaning or dry cleaning process. SOLUTION: This identification tag consists of a washing-resistant paper for cleaning, and a heat-seal layer containing a polypropylene resin, or polypropylene resin and a low mol.wt. polyolefin resin on at least one surface of the base paper. Preferably, the washing-resistant paper for cleaning is coated with a reactive urethane resin as an undercoat.
