PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal for reducing current consumption. SOLUTION: The display part of an electric field bar 41 changing in a relatively short time is turned to a picto-type LCD area 51 and the display part of a slowly changing battery residual amount 42, the display part of a hardly changing carrier name 43 and the display part of a date 44 are turned to a self holding type LCD area 52. For a driver for driving the self holding type LCD area 52 since a power source is turned on only when rewritten, the current consumption is reduced. |
