<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately assess the quantity of deflection of a spring by causing the free-end side projection of a guide pin to have a shape which is obtained by displacing a X-ray photographed contour from the outside an external pipe with a constant pitch. SOLUTION: The joint of an OF cable is provided with a corrugated packing 2 arranged on the periphery of the corrugated sheath of a cable, an internal flange 21 arranged on the periphery of a trapezoid packing 1, packing tightening metal fittings 3 and packing pressing metal fittings 4 which press the trapezoid packing 1 mutually, and a guide pin 10 is fitted to the packing pressing metal fittings 4. This constitution enables precise resetting of the deflection quantities of springs 12, 13 in the maintenance of a nonleaded sealing part. Namely, set values for the springs are computed from the projection quantity of the guide pin 10. This computation method is conducts measurement on an X-ray photographed film, makes it possible reading of the projection quantity of the guide pin directly by knowing the dimensional shape of the guide pin photographed on the X-ray film, and to know the deflection quantities of the springs more accurately.</p> |
