PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain noise produced from an optical correction means by a mechanical mechanism of a shift system etc., depending on the updated frequency of a control target value generated based on the detection output of camera shake amount in a video camera provided with a camera shake correcting function. SOLUTION: A predicted control target value after the elapse of specified time Treset" within one sampling period from the present is calculated from the control target value Sgain(n) obtained from the present sampling value of detection output and the control target value Sgain(n-1) obtained from the sampling value before one sample. By using the calculated result, the control target value is transited stepwise from the present control target value Sgain(n) to the control target value Sgain(n+1) obtained from the sampling value after one sample, whereby the updated frequency of the control target value is made larger than arithmetic frequency to calculate the control target value from the sampling value. |
