PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a focus controller as the controller of a master lens group in common, so that the focus controller becomes the controller of the master lens group when zoom is set to a wide side and becomes the focus controller when the zoom is set to a telephoto side. SOLUTION: When a remote tracking switch 46 is turned on and zoom is set to a wide side by a zoom controller 42, a focus controller 44 functions as a controller for adjusting the position of a master lens group 14. On the other hand, when the zoom is set to a telephoto side, the focus controller 44 is set to an original focus control function for adjusting the position of a focus lens group 12. Thus, a shading-off effect is given to a video by utilizing the controller at hand.
