摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inside inspection method for a hollow route with a wide cross section, in which the existence of a blockade inside the route can be inspected correctly even when the cross-sectional area of the hollow route such as the cooling water passage, the intake and discharge passage or the like of a head cylinder becomes wide. SOLUTION: The existence of a blockage inside a hollow route 8 which is bent and whose cross section is wide is inspected. At this time, diffused light Lb is projected from a route opening 10. Light which is reflected diffusedly so as to be passed inside the route 8 is imaged at another route opening 11 by an imaging means 13. Two or more kinds of feature amounts of a binarized image which is extracted by binarizing an imaged image by using a prescribed threshold value are measured. Respective adaptive degrees with respect to normal data of respective pieces of measured data are discriminated by a fuzzy inference. The respective adaptive degrees are combined. The existence of the blockade inside the hollow route 8 is inspected. The feature amount of a rebinarized image extracted by changing the binarized threshold value according to an inspection result is remeasured. The existence of the blockade inside the hollow route 8 is reinspected.
