摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a groove pitch and a reversing angle of a plurality of types of spacers. SOLUTION: A measuring device measures a spacer provided with a surrounding spiral groove, a groove pitch and a groove reversing angle of the spacer provided with the reversing spiral groove. The measuring device comprises a speed pulse generator 16 for generating a signal in response to a progress amount of the spacer, a rotor body fitted in the spiral groove, a pulse-like rotary angle signal in response to the rotary angle, a rotation direction discriminating signal which delays or progresses from the rotary angle signal, and first and second pulse generators 19, 20 for feeding out a one revolution pulse signal incidental to one revolution of the spiral groove. A calculation device 22 selects a type of spacer and calculates a groove pitch of the spiral groove, and also receives the rotary angle and rotation direction discriminating signal and discriminates reversing positions of the spiral groove, and counts a pulse and a rotary angle signal of the speed pulse generator between the neighboring reversing positions, and calculates the groove pitch and a groove angle of the spiral groove.
