PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a colored filter reasonably. SOLUTION: In this spotlight, a discharge lamp 2 such as a metal halide lamp, a reflecting mirror 3 and lenses 4 are accommodated inside a cylindrical body 1. A resin colored filter 5 is provided at a front opening. An external unit 8 accommodating a semiconductor inverter electronic ballast 6 and an air fan 7 is provided at the outside of the body 1. The air fan 7 can cool both the electronic ballast 6 and the colored filter 5. |
