METHOD FOR STARTING TWO-CYCLE DIRECT INJECTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for starting a two-cycle direct injection engine whose startability is improved in a two-cycle engine performing direct injection by a fuel injection valve by promoting atomization of fuel at the time of starting having a low temperature and a low fuel pressure. SOLUTION: In this method for starting a two-cycle direct injection engine having a crank chamber 8 arranged at one end part of a cylinder 5 on which a piston 12 is slid, a combustion chamber 7 arranged at the other end part, an intake passage 18 communicated with the crank chamber 8 and a fuel injection valve 17 placed in the combustion chamber 7 or the cylinder 5, at least a part of fuel is ejected at the time of starting to the crank chamber 8 or the intake passage 18 arranged further upstream from the crank chamber 8.
