PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the data compression system adopting the LZW coding system where coding processing is conducted at a high speed by reducing coding processing quantity by all compressed data and all expert dictionaries having been made by a conventional method. SOLUTION: In the data compression system adopting the LZW coding system, a learning dictionary 12-1 and one expert dictionary or over 12-2-12-4 are provided, part of coded compressed data is learned and compressed by using all the dictionaries, the expert dictionaries of a closest field are selected and fixed based on compressed data contents and the remaining compressed data are compressed by using the selected and fixed expert dictionaries. |
