PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish stable electric contact generated by a sufficient resilient force while the construction remains small and low in height. SOLUTION: A board mount connector 10 has a plurality of contacts 30 and a housing 20 to support them, and each contact 30 has a contacting part 32 on one side of a support part 31 supported by the housing 20. The contacting part 32 is composed of a downward facing projection 51 stretching down from a position apart from the support part 31, a curved part 52 convex downward at the front extended from the projection 51 and extending in curving toward the top, and an arm 53 stretching in inclination toward the rear top from the curved part 52 and furnished with a contacting projection 54 for contacting with the object to be connected in the neibourhood of the forefront. The contacting projection 54 is positioned beyond the top 56a of an upward convex part 56 bounded between them by the downward facing projection 51 and the curved part 52. |
