PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the insertion of probe pins by opening an insertion hole to insert a card edge board in the upper surface of a case, opening small holes to insert the probe pins corresponding to contact pins in both, side surfaces of the case, and vertically displacing the opening positions of the small holes adjacent to each other in the height range of the contact pins. SOLUTION: A card edge connector 2 has a case 5 and contact pins 6 and is mounted to a printed circuit board 7. The case 5 is a casing having its upper surface opened, and the upper surface opening is used as an insertion hole of a card edge board 1. The contact pins 6 form multiple pairs and the pairs of the contact pins 6 are arranged opposite to and in parallel with one another along the lengthwise direction of the case 5 and pierce the bottom of the case 5 to be extracted downward from the printed circuit board 7. The small holes 4 to insert probe pins 3 are individually opened in both side walls of the case 5 corresponding to all the pairs of the contact pins 6 in the case 5. |
