PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve impedance matching to transmission passages by electrically connecting multiple solder tails of a first edge connector to traces of a second edge connector, and electrically connecting test apparatus connectors to multiple transmission passages of a flexible circuit. SOLUTION: This edge connector insertion probe 100 includes a first edge connector 102, a supporting member 104, a flexible circuit 106 and multiple test apparatus connectors 108-116. Multiple holes are drilled in a crossbar 132 of the supporting member 104. The supporting member 104 is essentially provided with the crossbar 132 supported by a stay having both side surfaces 124/126. Additional holes in the crossbar 132 of the supporting member 104 can be so aligned as to be engaged with and fixed to traces 210, 212 extending from the first edge connector 102 almost in parallel with its multiple solder tails. |
