PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a broadcast packet in a radio LAN efficiently by distributing the broadcast packet as a radio packet by the OFDM to plural mobile terminal stations at the same time. SOLUTION: A packet transmission/reception section 1 is provided with a synchronizing signal transmission/reception section 3 and a packet identification section 5. The synchronizing signals transmission/reception section 3 transmits/receives a radio packet by the OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplex) method to synchronize a transmission/reception timing of the radio packet between other radio base station and its own radio base station. The packet identification section 5 identifies whether the radio packet to be sent in a unicast packet or a broadcast packet. A transmission control section 4 transmits the radio packet in the same timing as that of the other radio base station based on transmission timing information obtained by the synchronizing signal transmission/reception section 3 when the identification result by the packet identification section 5 indicats that the radio packet to be transmitted is the broadcast packet. |
