<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device for reducing the front surface of the electronic device and making a user able to view required information relating to the electronic device and a data container. SOLUTION: The cartridge 10 of the data container is inserted through a port 14 to the first peripheral device 12 of this electronic device. The cartridge 10 is provided with a display device 18 and is provided with an end face present on the same plane as the front surface 20 of the housing of the first peripheral device 12. The front surface 20 is provided with an ON/OFF lamp 22, other functional lamps 24 and 24' and a discharge button 29. The display device 18 indicates real time data relating to the operation of the first peripheral device 12 or stores and/or updates data relating to the cartridge 10 in use.</p> |
