<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mistake in specimen treatment because of misplacement of a specimen by an operator by providing respective data bases for system configuration information, rack drop-in information, specimen drop-in information, and specimen treatment result information. SOLUTION: A medical specimen examination pretreatment automation system is provided with respective data bases 190-193 for specimen drop-in information, system configuration information, rack drop-in information, and specimen treatment result information. A specimen is put in a test tube and placed on a rack so as to be applied to the system, and a bar code or the like serving as an identification number is stuck to each of the specimen test tube and the rack. On the basis of a specimen ID and a rack ID read by a bar code reader, the data bases 190, 192 are retrieved individually so as to be compared in a computing processing unit 50. If drop-in of the specimen matches that of the rack, reference to the data base 193 is made, and the rack is outputted to a default unit if all the specimens are treated already.</p> |
