PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the selfluminous keyboard which can be operated even in a dark place by fitting an electroluminescence element, formed by stacking an anode electrode, an electroluminescence material layer, and a cathode electrode, and a current supply means onto a keyboard. SOLUTION: The electroluminescence element 1 is formed in the shape of one sheet covering the entire surface of the keyboard and fitted onto the keyboard. This electroluminescence element 1 is structured by sandwiching the electroluminescence material layer 3 between the sheet type anode transparent electrode 2 and cathode electrode 4. When an electric field is applied between the anode transparent electrode 2 and cathode electrode 4, the electroluminescence material layer 3 luminesces and its light exits to the side of the anode transparent electrode 2. Therefore, the key array 6 of the keyboard can be recognized even in the case of use in a dark place.
