PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the reproduction, etc., of a small-sized disk housed in a disk cartridge by a drive device for a large-sized disk cartridge through an adapter and also to unnecessitate the direct touch to the disk with hand. SOLUTION: The disk 10 housed in the small-sized disk cartridge 100 is mounted inside the adapter having the compatibility with the large-sized disk cartridge together with an opening/closing cover 201 for clamping this disk. In the state when the opening/closing cover 201 is inserted to the main body 101 of a case, a 3rd lock protrusion is fitted into a 3rd lock hole 106. The fitted state is irreversibly released, and after once released, the released fact is easily confirmable.
