PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an impulse response equivalent to an anechoic room based on an impulse response measured in a reverberation room. SOLUTION: A measurement sound from a speaker 12 is reproduced in a reverberation room 10 and a microphone 14 picks up the sound. An analyzer 18 calculates an impulse response in the reverberation room 10 based on a picked-up signal and the response is Fourier-transformed to obtain complex data on a frequency axis. Furthermore, a real number part and an imaginary number part of the complex data are smoothed and the results are complexed to obtain smoothed complex data and an impulse response equivalent to an anechoic room is obtained by applying inverse Fourier transform to the complex data.
