PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a road display detection system useful for safety drive by making the road signs of a highway and a general road readable with a sensor. SOLUTION: Bar-like digital road signs (4, 5 and 41, for instance) are provided on the road surface or side wall surface of a highway and general road. By the length of a bar, the length of the interval of the bars, the thickness of the parallel bars and the width of the interval of the parallel bars, etc., bar-like display indicates '1' and '0'. The digital road signs are read from a vehicle during traveling by a camera sensor and the information of the road signs is reported to a driver in real time by a monitor or a speaker inside the vehicle. Since the need of viewing the road signs is eliminated, the driver can devote himself/herself to drive. For the bar-like digital road signs, since just white lines are drawn on the road surface, the digital road signs can be formed on the road surface without providing special equipment. |
