PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a recording/reproducing device able to be made compact and small in thickness by forming a protection film on a surface opposite to medium of a solid immersion lens. SOLUTION: A floating type magnetic head 53 is set up/fixed to a tip of a swing arm 56 through a suspension 55. The fulcrum 52 of the rotation of the swing arm 56 is installed in the vicinity of an outer periphery of a disk recording medium 51 and the magnetic head 53 moves on recording areas a, b, c in the radial direction of the disk recording medium 51 around it to perform information processing access to a whole recording area. The suspension 55 keeps stably the fixed position of the magneto-optical head part 53 corresponding to a floating function of a slider fitted to the magneto-optical head part 53. A light source of a laser beam of an information signal, etc., is fixed to a recording/reproducing device and the laser beam is sent from a laser beam window 54 to the magneto-optical head part 53 through the beam splitter of the laser beam installed in the vicinity of the rotary shaft 52 of the swing arm 56. |
