PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device equipped with a power unit capable of applying bias voltage to a corotron even with small number of components. SOLUTION: In this image forming device for feeding electric power from power unit having resistance 5 connected in parallel to an output terminal 7 of a rectify-smoothing circuit 3 to at least the electrifying device 23 in an electrophotographic processing part and controlling the power unit and the electrophotographic processing part by a sequence control part 14, when the sequence control part 14 controls the electrophotographic processing part so that the image formation can be performed in the electrophotographic processing part, the power unit controlling part 15 controls the power unit so as to output the constant current capable of forming the image in the electrophotographic processing part to the output terminal 7, and when the sequence control part 14 controls that the electrophotographic processing part so that the image formation can not be performed in the electrophotographic processing part, the power unit controlling part 15 controls the power unit so as not to output the current to the output terminal 7, but so as to output only the bias voltage. |
