PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of image transfer, image recording of a plurality of image pickup devices by providing a function for reducing the number of lines used also as a frame switcher function by obtaining a coincident signal from an ID comparator circuit, outputting image output of one field period signal processing circuit to a connection terminal of the image pickup device and time-division multiplexing an image signal. SOLUTION: The image signal is time-division multiplexed to a transmission line 6 by the image pickup device 1. In this case, an external synchronizing signal 113 to be supplied from an image receiver 2 used also as a reproducing device of a recorded image outside the image pickup device is separated by an external synchronizing signal separator circuit 105 and the external synchronizing signal is supplied to a synchronizing signal generating circuit 104. Input of an ID separator circuit 107 is connected with a connection terminal 110 and is connected with the image receiver 2 used also as the reproducing device of the recorded image via the transmission line 6, from which an ID signal 112 is supplied. When pieces of data of an ID setting circuit 106 and the ID separator circuit 107 coincide, an image switching signal 111 is generated to an image signal changeover switch 109 by being synchronized with the external synchronizing signal by the ID comparator circuit 108.
