PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency push button structure for a security equipment wherein the push-up amount of an alarm switch is increased to ensure turn-on of the alarm switch. SOLUTION: An emergency push button structure for security equipment for applying a push 5 to a guard plate 1 for the emergency push button in emergency to depress an alarm switch 3 is provided with a spring rib 6a between the guard plate 1 and the alarm switch 3 for absorbing the push 5 of the guard plate 1 to push up the switch beyond the operation position 3a of the alarm switch 3 without applying load to the alarm switch 3.
