PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the workability at the time of separating connector members. SOLUTION: A connector includes an oversurface finger touching part 25A formed on a release operation part 24B of a rocking arm 24 on the oversurface of a female side housing 20 and an undersurface finger touching part 25B provided as protruding in cantilever form backward on the undersurface, and if the two parts 25A and 25B are nipped from above and below for making a displacement, an oversurface shoving part 26A and undersurface shoving part 26B shove the front surface of the male side housing 10. This ensures good workability at the time of separating the connector members because a force to separate the two housings 10 and 20 is generated only by nipping the parts 25A and 25B before the force in the direction of separating the housings 10 and 20 is applied.
