PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visualize the rear side (print surface) of an optical recording surface at the time of recording and reproduction in an optical card device which records and reproduces data on an optical card. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a transparent plate which is formed on the top surface of an enclosure and supports the card 1 in contact with its optical recording surface, an optical control mechanism which is stored in the enclosure and scans the optical recording surface of the optical card 1 with a light beam 2 through the transparent plate to record and reproduce information, and a transparent window plate which is provided on the top surface of the transparent plate and clamps the optical card 1 with the transparent plate. |
