<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use a line by searching an access server having the idle line before sending a packet when performing communication from a LAN terminal through an ISDN network. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a LAN terminal L and access servers 5 and 9 connected to a LAN, and in the case of performing the communication from the LAN terminal 1 through the ISDN network, the access servers 5 and 9 having the idle lines are searched. Concerning such a transmission destination access server determining device, the LAN terminal 1 is composed of a line connected access server table 32 for managing whether the line to send the packet is under connection or not, transmission destination access server retrieving means 33 for performing processing for sending the packet to the ISDN terminal and retrieving any access server having the idle line, packet output processing part 34 for performing the output processing of the packet, and connection/disconnection packet processing part 35 for receiving a connection packet, which is sent from the access server, reporting the connection of the line and a line disconnection notice packet reporting the connection of the line.</p> |
