PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch having a coupling function and also allowing the structure to be small. SOLUTION: This optical switch 10 is composed of plural fixed side optical fibers 14 on a substrate 12, an optical array member 16, and one movable side optical fiber 18. A 1st and a 2nd optical input/output ports are formed on the end face opposed to the movable side optical fiber 18 of the optical array member 16, and a 3rd and a 4th optical input/output ports are formed on the other end face. Moreover, in the optical array member 16, an optical waveguide connecting the 1st input/output port with the 3rd one and an optical waveguide connecting the 2nd input/output port with the 4th one are formed intersecting each other, and the intersection part is provided with dielectric multi-layer film 36, which selectively transmits light of 1.65μm wavelength and also selectively reflects light of 1.31μm and 1.55μm wavelengths, in parallel with the above-mentioned end face of the optical array member 16. |
