PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a communication satellite CS converter that selectively takes a vertically polarized wave operating state or a horizontally polarized wave operating state at a different power supply voltage and a broadcast satellite BS converter, that is operated at a constant power supply voltage properly at all times by a power supply voltage from a reception output section. SOLUTION: This satellite signal receiver is provided with a reception output, section 19, that gives selectively a DC voltage V1 of 15 V or a 11 V DC voltage V2 to a CS/BS mix section 15 as a power supply voltage, a DC/DC converter 26 that obtains a 15 V DC voltage V3 based on the 11 V DC voltage V2 from the reception output section 19, and the CS/BS mixing section 15 that applies the 15 V DC voltage V1 to both a CS converter 13 and-a BS converter 14, when receiving the 15 V DC voltage V1 from the reception output section 19 as a power supply voltage and applies the 11 V DC voltage V2 to the CS converter 13, when receiving the 11 V DC voltage V2 from the reception output section 19 as a power supply voltage and applies the 15 V DC voltage V3 from the DC/DC converter 26 to the BS converter 14 as a power supply voltage.
