摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce in size a main body of an accumulator without increasing a capacity of a casing by connecting a bypass passage to a casing, and vaporizing a refrigerant liquid stored in a bottom of the casing via a refrigerant gas of a high temperature and a high pressure supplied via the bypass passage. SOLUTION: A bypass passage 9 for supplying a refrigerant gas of a high temperature and a high pressure from a discharge tube 5 connected to a compressor (a) is connected to a casing 1 opposed to an outer periphery of a base end of an outlet tube 3. An opening/closing unit is provided at the passage 9. In the case of storing a refrigerant liquid in a predetermined amount in the casing 1, the passage 9 is automatically opened by the unit to vaporize the refrigerant liquid by the refrigerant gas of the high temperature and high pressure circulated in the casing 1 via the passage 9 as shown by an arrow (h) from the tube 5. Thus, a body of the accumulator can be reduced in size without needing to increase a capacity of the casing 1.
