PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device for and a mounting method of a cooling fan in which the machining of mounting part is easy, the cost of the mounting part is reduced, the mounting of the cooling fan is easy and the mounted state is also stabilized. SOLUTION: A mounting hole 18 having a larger diameter than a mounting pin 15 is formed on a print board 11 and an engaging seat plate 16 made of a polyester film making a diameter smaller when it is inserted into the mounting hole 18 of the print board 11 and returning the diameter to the original size after it is inserted into the mounting hole 18 is provided on a lower end of the mounting pin 15. A cooling fan 13 is mounted by engaging the engaging seat plate 16 with the print board 11. Thereby, a processing of the mounting part is easy, cost of the mounting part is cheaper, mounting of the cooling fan 13 can be performed by one touch and the mounting state of the cooling fan 13 to the print board 11 is stabilized.
