PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input pen for information equipment capable of preventing the input part of the information equipment from being damaged erroneously by the input pen even when the switching to the input pen for information equipment is forgotten at the time of inputting information to the information equipment by providing a means for being automatically switched to the input pen for information equipment, and to provide an input system using the input pen. SOLUTION: This input pen 1 for information equipment having both an input means 11 and a writing means 12 for information equipment is provided with a receiving means 13 for receiving signal information sent from external equipment to any of optic, magnetic or electric means and a switching means for switching the input pen to either of the input means 11 or the writing means 12 in response to the signal.
